WayBase endeavours to be a neutral platform that serves Christian ministries and organizations. Both our purpose and the law requires us to be consistent in how we include organizations. We acknowledge there will be errors at times, but we are committed to a process of constant refinement to ensure our platform adheres to our purpose, policies, and the law.

Charities and other socially benefiting organizations that are not identifiable as Christian in their purposes or mission. We recognize the vast contribution of these organizations and gratefully work alongside non-Christian or other faith based charities and organizations, but this specific platform is designed for Christian listings.

WayBase will only list a business designed specifically to advance the Christian faith as stated above. However, we commend business owners that operate their business according to the principles that Jesus teaches.

(e.g., A local expression of a large national student ministry, or a campus of a multi-site church)

This means that a ministry that clearly advances the Christian faith and can be endorsed by a Christian charity will be able to join the platform and create a searchable listing. Even if a ministry is for-profit we will list it on the platform if it clearly advances the Christian faith in its purposes and activities and can be endorsed by a Christian charity listed on the platform. WayBase clearly distinguishes between charitable organizations and other listings.

Examples include but are not limited to: Christian bookstore, student ministry, Christian welfare organization, worship artist, speaker, life coach, counselor, and YouTuber.

The Canadian Council of Churches confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures and therefore seek to fulfil together their common calling to the glory of one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and also other churches which affirm the same faith but which do not make doctrinal confessions.
