Uganda Martyrs Church of Canada's mission is to bring a pastoral ministry among the growing community of Ugandans from a different religious background as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Whenever a pastoral concern arises in the community, for example, the loss of a relative back home, family members needing a pastoral visit for a particular reason, moments of joy like the birth of a child, the betrothal of a couple, whenever such pastoral service arises, UMUCCA will be there for our community members. Uganda Martyrs Church of Canada is a place of refuge for many Canadians of Ugandan descent in the GTA and beyond.

Community Outreach
Community Outreach
This is a monthly activity done every month to feed the homeless in the city of Toronto. This program has been done jointly with Rev. Jean Henry of Circle of Love Community Outreach. We share the cost of food and preparation. We have now been joined by St. Andrew’s United Church, Georgetown, and they have assisted in preparing some of the food, they have brought in clothing, shoes and blankets. We normally have an average of 5 youth attending each time.

UMUCCA YAYA group is composed of energetic, vibrant, and bright young people who are active in our community and beyond. Most of these young people were either born in Canada or in Uganda, and they have overcome all odds of life and managed to go universities, colleges, and other higher learning institutions. So, if you have any young people in your family that want to be inspired by their age mates, please feel free to join us and find out how this ministry can help you..

Women’s Ministry
Women’s Ministry
The women’s ministry is headed by Santa Oloya and it is composed of both mature women and young women in our church that come together and discuss issues concerning family matters, counseling each other on ways how to raise children, be good mothers and wives. The women’s ministry is one of the most active ministries with members participating and heading various ministries. The women’s role in our church is so instrumental in holding this church together, and bringing new ideas to develop this church with a better future. These women are so hard working that they manage to raise children, hold down full-time jobs, and run the hospitality ministry every Sunday.
